I did these paintings as Christmas presents for my two best girl friends. They turned out amazing! They are both done on 16x24 canvas with acrylic paint.

This one is from Lord of the Rings, Return of the king. It is a picture of Eowyn and Faramir in the houses of healing.

This one is of Peter Pan in front of the Jolly Roger.

With my artist's eye and my years of having way too much time on my hands to play with Photoshop, I can efficiently restore those old photographs that are currently rotting in a cardboard box.

I offer my apologies for not being able to think of a wittier title.

Here is the finished copy of my painting of Hogwarts. Oh yes, it is so going on the wall.

Here is a mural I did six or seven years ago in the home of the darling Flake family. I lived with them for the space of two school years and they asked me to do a castle in their basement, which had previously been muraled with a countryside scene and a family tree.

I love you guys!

Welcome to Climbing Ivy Designs!

I do wall murals and other custom pieces of art to add a personal touch to your home decor. I use non-toxic acrylic and sometimes latex paint. I specialize in doing animated characters (Disney, Nick Jr., etc.) but I can do just about anything if I have a picture of what you want. This picture is a design I recently did for a friend in her daughter's room.

If you're curious about pricing, drop me a line because the prices vary depending on the size of the design. I will tell you I do not charge by the hour. Some designs require a lot of time and detail and charging a base rate saves you money.

I also do canvas paintings, if you're not so hot on the wall murals. Here's a few examples of what I've done in the past. I have many more completed pieces that I will post at a later date.

Here's a painting of Merlin from Disney's The Sword in the Stone, done on canvas as a gift for my good friend Rogue.

I did this one a few years ago. It's is a map of Disney Princess Castles, including Cinderella, Aurora, Snow White, Ariel, Jasmine, Belle, and for kicks, I added Neverland. Oh, and the red numbers on the lower-right hand side are from my camera; they're not actually on the painting.
